Purchase this camera and know that it works well. Without issue. The only advice needed beyond the instruction manual is that, if you already have a Nest device in your home, this camera will need to be physically close to that existing device during setup (it will obtain wifi login info from the device that's already connected to your network). Everything else about this camera is super solid.

Best Outdoor Camera Ever!

The Nest Outdoor Cam is the best ever. Initially I had chosen the Nest Doorbell but wasn’t able to Install it. ONTECH gave me a couple of options and I chose the Nest Cam Doorbell. The Cam Doorbell has all the features of the Doorbell and so much more such as facial recognition, 180 degree view, two-way audio, ability to zoom in on images, and the CLARITY is spectacular. Nest is No.1. Easy to use.

Great Wired Camera

This camera is a perfect addition to our NEST home suite of products. From the opening of the box, to the final setup, including drilling a hole in the garage, the whole setup time was under two hours. Don't fret about the camera working only on the 2.4 GHz band. By law in Canada they are only permitted to operate on this frequency. Looking forward to adding more Nest Cams to our home environment.
