mieux vaut attendre les spéciaux. C'est quand même assez dispendieux comme produit.

Q: How do I fertilize a 'combination' lawn. I'm planning to seed bare patches and over-seed the rest of a lawn. From Canadian Tire I have purchased lots of this product as well as premium seed. What steps should I follow re new seeding, over-seeding, and fertilizing?

1 Answer
  • A: Whenever applying any high nitrogen fertilizer, like CIL Golfgreen 1Step All Season Lawn Fertilizer 35-0-10, you should allow 2 to 3 weeks after the application before applying you grass seed. Applied too soon and the high nitrogen can damage the new seedlings as they develop. If you choose to apply the grass seed first, then the fertilizer should not be applied until the seed has germinated and had to be mowed 3 times. That is three time that it has grown over 3" inches in height and had to be mowed back. At that time the grass is considered established and you may apply a high nitrogen fertilizer.
