Not lucky with this product

I bought 3 of these and had to return 2 of them after a few days. They were installed properly. The lights just started turning on and off in a rapid cycle. Could not get it to stop so had to cut power and uninstall. Replaced with 2 new ones and same thing started to happen after 3 weeks. I installed these so when I’m out of town I can control my outdoor lights. ( good thing I was home) I have other Wi fi products from Globe and am happy with them but these light switches are something else. Not sure what to do.

A: So it can be turned on and off manually, but how? There don't appear to be instructions and using the switch itself does not seem to work, nor is it intuitive.

Q: Is this product standard Decora Switch size? Specifically, I am wondering if the functioning part of the product, would fit into standard decora size, if the location I needed to install was (is) a 3 bay set of switches. :)

Q: I note that this switch comes with its own individual faceplate. Will this switch fit and function in a multi-switch box/faceplate application?

A: It will fit in a multi-gang box, and can be covered with a regular Decor-style multi-switch faceplate. However, it's larger than a normal switch and might be a tight fit in the box, depending on how many wires & connectors are present. If there are more than a couple, it might not meet electrical code restrictions for box fill. A "deep box" might be needed to accommodate a lot of wires.

Q: I removed my existing switch and can’t see any neutral wire Or ground - though my house is relatively new. The instructions suggest this is necessary. Any advice here?

A: In Quebec code does not require a neutral wire. That is why I don’t understand why Globe is even selling these things. Canadian tire must have a lot of returns.

Q: Switch is installed and I can manually turn it on and off. The included instructions do not describe how to put the device in pairing mode - How do I do this?? Also the Globe Suite app doesn't have this switch listed.
