Save your money, buy something else

I bought this camera about 18 months ago. For the first year everything was great: crisp resolution, no subscription, good notifications. Then everything went downhill. Stopped getting a live feed. Then notifications stopped. Wouldn't power on. Originally it showed 80% signal strength: today, it's 50% even with a brand new Wi-Fi extender that it didn't originally need. Today it works, tomorrow who knows.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Doesn't want to connect. Doesn't seem to know what's a smart cam. It doesn't have a feature for just indoor/outdoor camera just one or the other. Doesn't want to pair.

This is the best one as other we have tried failed

The people at Canadian tire in Kamloops were veryful, but the installation difficult to get connected with telus and we could not use globe app. We did find one that work and now the system is up and running. the other concert is if you installed it indoor it will not work unless there is out side light which on if you want pick movement at night. during day it work fine. We will be installing motion light so if someone walk by or try to open the light will come and send me a notice.

Power supply quit working

I bought two of these cameras and installed one of them outside near my back door. The image quality was fine, the app is fine, however the camera no longer works. The power supply lasted about two months , and no longer works. The camera still works if I connect it to the power supply for the second camera which has remained indoors. Where can I get a replacement power supply and why don’t you provide a power supply that can be used outdoors for an indoor/outdoor camera? Thank you

Especially great if you need sensitive motion detection

I have several Globe products and they are definitely high quality. If anything they’re almost too good in that you have to carefully refine the motion sensing “zone” so as to avoid excessive motion alerts. The plug-in cord is nice and long. The Globe app on my phone is excellent. I’m able to view all cameras at once, set custom routines, and manage all my Globe devices centrally.
