Beautiful Knife but thumb lift is a failure

Loved the look, fee and blade of knife. Like the locking and release mechanism but the thumb lift is a plate screwed into the top of the blade and is too thin and failed in under a month of purchase. I like the thumb lift but the plate would need to be slotted into the blade instead of screwed to the top allowing the blade to take the stress of opening and not a little screw.

No, I do not recommend this product.
