The Generac 200A Transfer Switch provides the essential automatic power switching for your home standby generator. Required to automatically shut off utility power and switch to generator supply during an outage, this 200A service-rated transfer switch is NEMA 3 approved for indoor and outdoor installation. With load management for two air conditioners and an open transition design, the Generac switch offers seamless power transfers to keep your home running in a power outage.

  • Automatically shuts off the public utility and sends power from the home standby generator

  • Manage up to four HVAC loads with no additional hardware needed

  • Included wiring harness allows for convenient setup

  • Enclosure protects the internal components of the switch from rain, snow, ice, and debris

    Sign of the times. Took 8 months to get. And I am happy to get it. Have not got it installed as plumbers and electricians are equally hard to get. Not sure I understand the situation but here we are.

    • A: Yes it is service entrance rated. The model number is RXSW200A3CUL.  Do not buy the USA version as it will not get certified in Canada. I know from experience.

    Q: Est-ce que ce dispositif est homologué au Québec vu que dans le code électrique au Québec tout dispositif de transfert pour génératrice doit obligatoirement couper le neutre de Hydro-Québec du panneau électrique
