Cheap fragile construction

I purchased this dehumidifier about a year ago. It gradually became noisier and noisier, and recently started making alarming banging noises. When I opened the back case, I found that the impeller fan had broken. I was able to wire the broken blade back in place. I had to put a piece of cardboard between one of the refrigerant lines and the fan case to stop a buzzing noise. This dehumidifier is very cheaply built and I would never buy another from this company.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This dehumidifier works better than any other I have tried. The pump does exactly what it is
supposed to do, saving me from having to remember to empty it. I have not noticed a
big change on my electric bill, so it is economical
also.

Q: Is this dehumidifier quiet? We live in our motorhome so the dehumidifier will be placed in our living area next to where we sit. It has to be super quiet.

A: In my experience this dehumidifier is never really quiet, but our unit gradually and then abruptly became very noisy due to a broken impeller fan blade and a pipe that could vibrate against an internal case. I had to open up the unit to fix the noise sources. I do not think that this unit is well built, and I would not recommend it.

Q: EI ? The LCD display constantly displays EI, i cannot however find any references to this in the manual or the internet - as far as i know this is an error notice ?

Q: Is the pump strong enough to pump the waster up 8 feet to a basement window?

A: Yes, 8ft vertical rise is maximum for that pump, any further and the pump will burn out very quickly.

Q: How do you get the pump to work to drain the bucket. the pump not work. Pump light flashes all the time but does not pump out the water. The plastic hose that was supplied with the machine is attached to the back of the machines draining attachment. Thanks Juiceb

A: PUMP SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK • Is the pump indicator flashing? 1. Check and make sure the drain hose is correctly connected to the unit. 2. Press the POWER button to turn off the unit. Restart the unit by pressing the POWER button again. If you have tried all of these steps and you are still having issues, please call 1-800-268-6591 for assistance.
