Confusing Setup

I found this dado set to be somewhat confusing to set up. The outside cutters are side specific and all the cutting edges overlap. You have to use the chart that comes with the blades to get the proper dado width. Other than that they seem to work fine. The same item can be purchased in the US for $99.

Q: Metric and standard? The set that I got shows measurements in standard measure on the chart, but the shims are all stamped in metric. I had to get a metric converter to figure this out then wrote on the shims the standard measures. Is this common?

Q: will it fit a 10 inch table saw? I have a 10 inch table saw and this blade like most other dado blades I have seen says it is an 8 inch blade. Will it fit my table saw?

A: Yes it will fit. Most table saws have a 5/8" arbor which this blade is made for.
