Worst Design Ever

I spent 6 hours trying to install this and finally gave up to return it. It is incredibly hard to adjust the length of the two outside pendants (the inside pendant is not easy, but it is doable). The problem then is that you have so much cord wound up in the frame that it is impossible to install so the light so that it is flush with the ceiling. You can try forcing it, but the mount will bend, resulting in the whole thing not being flush. Too much wire and the wire is too thick! You really only have three options with this light. Either fully extend the pendants, which drop almost 4 feet OR cut the wires, splice and re-join them yourself OR keep your receipt and bring it back.

A major pain to install. The middle light stopped working after two years. Rewired it then a year later all three went. Looks great, I love the light but way too much work for something that doesn't last.

I opened the box and noted that the light would be too low for the table. The pamphlet states tht if you want to shorten the cable there is strong recommendation that it be done by an electrician. We called a professional electrician. Without cutting the wires there is no way you can have it flush against the wall. The electricians cost exceeded the price of the light but it looks great. (bronze). It took the electrician over an hour to install as he first tried to install it without cutting the cord and later had to start again and cut the cord first.

assembly time required...and patience !

We're just so glad we decided to have an electrician install this light. I have installed many lights but this one also involved centering the box over the table. Now that it's up, we really like it but we had to get our creative thinking caps on to a cover up the gap between the fixture and the ceiling. We cut a piece of dark leather and wrapped it around - looks great. Took electrician over 2 hours to install

Q: Making it longer. Do you cut off the 2 hole clips that the wire runs through to lengthen it? I can't seem to pull the wire through those clips to make it longer.

A: No, you do not and should not cut the 2 hole clip that the wire runs through. The wires are quite stiff so you do need to go through a push and pull process to adjust them but once the wire starts to move it becomes easier. I have attached the instruction sheet which also mentions this point. If the customer would like someone to help them walk through this step he/she can call the customer service team at 1-866-492-3456.
