Cute turtle but the solar light does not work. It’s a shame as it is really cute. After reading the reviews this appears to be a common issue . If the solar light isn’t important to you then it is a cute lawn decoration.

Very disappointed in this purchase

I bought the turtle a month ago while travelling. Once home the turtle lit up brilliantly, second night it lit for a couple of hours then quit. Third night quit working all together.

A: Just put him in the sun! Also get creative, a little potted plant or plastic drink cup placed in his hands won’t affect his charge ;•}

Q: I have several of the metal outside turtles and an owl and green tree shaped one. My question is can you buy replacement lights for them, mine went out after only one summer. I would like to know where I can get the replacement cartridges for the lights

A: I have had several animal shaped solar lights from Canadian Tire over the years. If you open the turtle up and remove the LED light by bending the 3 tabs up, you can pull the LED light assembly out and expose a battery. Replace the battery with a new one for solar light which Canadian sells and you should have your light working again.
