Gets the job done

Bought to take camping during a fire ban. 1lb tank lasts about an hour. Added the ambiance that would be otherwise missing from the campsite. Can’t complain with the price when on sale.

Bought it to enjoy a little fire in the backyard until we build our deck and fire pit. Would have been nice to know it was a repackaged return. Nothing were in their bags (even the lava rocks) and the atual bags that the parts were suppose yo be in were just shoved into the bottom of the box. This isn't the first time I've unknowingly bought a returned product from Canadian tire that was missing parts or repackaged with wrong parts. Very disappointing. Returned it for a refund and have become very reluctant to purchase anything from Canadian Tire in the future.

So, it’s usable but the instructions were vague. Shows a photo of a propane tank sitting up right. I don’t know anything about propane, but we bought the 1lb canisters from Canadian Tire and they’re so tall that it has to sit sideways. I hope that’s okay...? Also, not sure if we should remove the metal tags off it, it’s tied to a metal chain.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Burns Gas as Fas as the Sun

wow, this things burns through its propane so quickly. Although the knob has low to high settings, it really only burns on high. this results in the little one pound propane tank being used up in about 1 hour. Not practical to have to use a new propane tank every time i plan on having a fire.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Better than expected.

From the other reviews we our expectations were very low. We purchased this fire pit to take camping during a fire ban (propane fire rings are allowed). The flame wasn't huge, but was bigger than what I was expecting, there was a fair amount of heat and it added a nice ambience that would have been missing otherwise. We'll definitely keep in in the camper, and expect to use it at least a few times over the course of the summer.
Yes, I recommend this product.

A: Runtime on the 1lb, "Green" Propane tank was less than 2hrs for sure (on mid-setting). Also the visual output of the flame was no different on Low, Mid or High. When you factor in the cost of the little tanks compared to a larger tank, it is not the best. Don't get me wrong, it's better than nothing... But as mentioned in my review, the next model for $50 more is definitely much better.
