This was very straightforward to assemble. I bought this along with several other pieces as a custom storage unit, and I am very pleased with how it looks and performs. I love how you can customize the layout of this set of furniture to suit your needs, and it's very durable as well. Could not be happier.

I found this easy to put together with decent hardware pieces. I used it as the base of a nightstand with a set of drawers on top. I only wish that Canadian Tire made the legs for these modular units more easily available at all stores. The legs are inexpensive and give the cubes a more finished look.

Q: Can I purchase a base for this unit or legs

A: Yes. The legs or feet are approximately 2" wood cubes that come with screws attached and simply screw into the base of any of the modules. They come in packages of four. There are other bases for these units if you want to make a larger unit (e.g. three modules wide). The wood feet I described above are for individual modules or single stacked modules.
