Inexpensive and works well.

It was quite inexpensive. I know you aren't supposed to but I use it in the garage and keep it on low. It keeps the temp in there about 15c.

Basic space heater. Nothing fancy. Works fine and can heat up a small room easily. I have only had to use the lowest of two settings. It will stop automatically if it is ON and you either pick it up, or tip it over. That is a good safety feature. It does have a basic fan setting. The highest heat setting was not necessary for me. It will shut off automatically if it the unit gets too hot (Highest setting). The lower setting was MORE than enough. It is fairly quiet and does what it is intended to do. Economical and affordable. Like any electrical heater, read the instructions fully and use with great care.

Q: Can the for living fan heater be left on unattended if plugged directly into a grounded outlet, left on a wood floor, and with a 3 foot radius from any other objects?

A: I would say yes if you have too. I've seen them run all night at construction jobs. When unattended their is always that small risk of an issue but they have a tip over safety .

Q: The dial shows the fan setting is independent of the low/high heat settings, and so I'm wondering if the fan setting could serve as a cool fan in the heat of summer. Are the high/low settings fan + heat and the fan is just air movement?

A: Yes, it is possible to use it just as a fan. It does not have any cooling options, just air movement.

A: Building code requires minimum outlet and wire capacity to be 15 amps, 1,800 watts. This heater is maximum 1,500 watts. You are OK. You cannot plug a 20 amp appliance into a 15 amp outlet anyways, the plug won't fit. Just don't run this with other appliances on the same circuit, or run it at 800 watts if you do.

A: I wouldn’t think so. It doesn’t have a temperature control where it turns off when it gets to a certain temperature. I took it back and upgraded to another one that did
