Same happened to me then I bought a new one and didn't remove it from water as thought it was the contract with the air but I was worst

Terrible Design

This ladder came with our pool. Out of the box, it was already damaged but we put it together so we could complete the pool set-up. The ladder is so narrow at the top that it is difficult for an adult to use. There is no area to turn around when exiting the pool so you have to go down the stairs facing forward. The stairs are steep. The whole design is awkward.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Lots of rust!!

I bought a steel pro max pool last summer that came with this 48” ladder. It did not last a month before rusting out. It is covered in rust on the inside as well so repainting is not an option. I did repaint the poles of the pool for this summer because they were also very rusted. I removed the ladder every night last summer as I kept the pool covered every night. This year I am in need of a new ladder and this size is not sold in stores. Pool is advertised as rust proof but I assure you that it is NOT rust proof!! All of the rubber foot covers came off right away and all 4 feet look like the pictures. I am not able to reuse this ladder as it pores rust into the pool.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The elements and certain types of chemicals can cause the premature rusting of the frame.
