Warranty not honored.

Love this tool until the head broke. I filed a warranty claim over 7 weeks ago and I have heard nothing. Is the warranty for real?

Yes, I recommend this product.

Warranty is currently working on claims submitted 6/7/25. If your claim was submitted after this date, it hasn't been reviewed yet. This is due to an error that occurred during a recent software transition that caused a backlog.

All around perfect product for my needs

Has mine for years and perfect weight and mechanism to get the job done without me having to waddle up in the middle of undergrowth and get covered in poison Ivey or meet the neighborhood snakes So great a tool, the lawn company picked it up and drove off. Ah well needed some new blades anyway.

Yes, I recommend this product.

To install the replacement head on your Fiskars Pruning Stik Extendable Tree Pruner (8–12'), follow these steps: 🔧 What You’ll Need: A Phillips screwdriver or hex wrench (depending on your model) Your replacement head kit 🛠 Installation Steps: Retract the pole fully to make it easier to handle. Remove the old head: Locate the screws or bolts securing the head to the pole. Unscrew them carefully and detach the entire head, including the blade housing and rope/cable mechanism (if applicable). Align the new head with the pole: Position the new head in the same orientation as the old one. Ensure the drive cable or internal linkage (if your model has it) lines up properly inside the pole. Secure the new head: Insert the screws/bolts included with the replacement kit and tighten them securely—but don’t overtighten. Test the cutting action: Pull the orange handle or rope to make sure the blade moves smoothly. Make any tension adjustments if needed. If your pruner has an internal rope or cable mechanism (as many older Pruning Stik models do), it may take a bit of patience to align and tension properly.

This is the 2nd stick extendable tree runner. Less than a month of having the new one the plastic piece that you loosen broke while extended. tried to JB weld together but did not work. I have been looking for a replacement part but never see one.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Fabulous and Durable

Fabulous. I have an organic orchard with 50 trees. These are indispensable for pruning and thinning. Have two long, two short. They do a ton of cutting, and have for 4 years, I sharpen the blades infrequently but they stay sharp.
