Containers crack easily at the top

I purchased several different sizes for storing dry goods and within a year most have cracked from the top. For the cost of this product I don’t recommend purchasing them.

Q: Can they be stored in the freezer?

A: The canisters can be put into the freezer, not as ice making vessels. If used in the freezer, caution when removing is required not to temperature shock the container by either impact or applying heat such as under hot water to attempt to thaw quickly. The container should be allowed to adjust to the change in temp. The crystaline properties of the acrylic come into play. The strength of the product material will accommodate standard home freezers. How you handle the product after removing from the freezer is the key to continued integrity of the container.
