not for canadian winters

This soffit vent seems great until you actually use it once the temperature drops. The damper freezes and I have to go up on a ladder and pry it open. Pretty much every review I have read on this unit expresses the same problems. This vent works great in summertime, but unfortunately we live in Canada and the cold is not its friend.
