Rust is gone

This product is great! Follow the instructions, and it will remove every speck of rust from steel and iron. It does not further corrode the bits being cleaned, Be sure to protect the cleaned items as soon as they dry, because the surfaces will be completely exposed and vulnerable to new rusting.

Q: Can I use this on the under carriage of my truck to get rid of surface rust on frame and floors ? I'd also then like to applie something to protect the under carriage when done.

A: It can't be just sprayed on and left for a while - wouldn't work. The reason is that the rusted item must be submerged in a 'bath' of Evapo-Rust for a period of 20 minutes to 24 hours, depending on the severity /depth of the rust. We have heard of people filling old bathtubs with Evapo-Rust for de-rusting large parts. So as you can see, physical size is the only limitation.
