Best to keep inside

I bought this to hide my kitty litter box. I cut a hole in the side and it works perfectly. I would suggest gluing parts together before putting bolts/screws in. My doors did not line up perfectly so that has to be adjusted. Over all for what I want it for it is almost perfect. I would not use outside unless painted with oil paints and in a protected area.

Didn't stand up!

I too was very excited for this as I live in a townhouse. I gave me a place to store all my garden stuff and some outside toys for the kids. Last summer it looked great and I would have written a 5* review. However after 1 winter, not overly cold and at the side of the house so not getting rained on constantly, it is falling appart :( The doors warped and it no longer closes properly. In fact I couldn't even open them in the winter!
No, I do not recommend this product.

Modified Into Garbage/Compost Bin Storage!

I'm thrilled with this purchase! I live in an upper level townhouse, so storage is at a premium.
I saw this unit online and thought it might be the perfect solution to have by my front door for housing my compost bin and garbage can, and I was right!
By not using the planter box, and taking what was meant to be the interior shelf and mounting it to the top from underneath (which actually looks quite stylish), that made it perfect for both my tall green bin and 75L garbage can (also purchased at Canadian Tire, in fact!) to go inside and be neatly tucked away! :)
I changed the knobs from the standard wooden ones just to a ring style to suit my own taste - but this project couldn't have turned out better for what I wanted.
The plastic planter box that was originally supposed to go on top didn't go to waste, either - my stepmom was able to use it as a stand-alone planter for some lovely summer plants! :)
THANK YOU, Canadian Tire - this was exactly what I wanted!
