perennial planter box

I do like it ,especially the wheels on it as i use it on the balcony to move around to face the sun as it moves. my only issue was i wanted it to be deeper for my perennials. I am hoping it will last a few years, but have yet to see if it will last over the cold winter.

Perfect for my moms balcony!

I bought this so my Mom (who has been confined to her condo) could grow some tomatoes and cucumbers on her balcony. It was perfect for her, wish I took a picture last visit bc they are just starting to grow now in Aug. Great idea for people who miss gardening in their backyard but now can on their own little balcony!

Great mobile planter

Picked this up early in March to get a jump start on tomatoes and lettuce. I could have gotten the smaller unit but after getting some keyhole gardens, I didn't want to go back to low gardening. This unit was perfect for seed starting and prepping plants. So much so, I never got around to transferring the tomatoes or lettuce once they came up. Can't believe how much fruiting I'm getting from the tomatoes. It's actually about double what the website picture shows (had to prop up to keep from crushing the lettuce, ha!). I love that I can scooch this thing around. It made it easy to get everything inside for some of those days when the temps dropped real low. Great product.

Nice Idea - Doesn't Work

Bought this last month excited to try growing a few vegetables on my deck. Followed the instructions exactly down to how much dirt to put in it. Added a pepper plant, a miniature tomato, a small cucumber plant, and some radish seeds. Within the week went out to the deck to find it crashed to the ground, plants, dirt, and water everywhere. One of the corners of the base had folded in on itself in the heat of the sun, all four legs were slightly bent, and the base was slightly warped so we can't put it back together because it will no longer stand. Contacted Emsco who said to return it to Canadian Tire but I don't want to kill all my plants to do that, so just using the planter portion as a planter straight on the deck, which I could have bought for half the price. Good thing I'm not mobility impaired.
No, I do not recommend this product.
