Electrolux Masterpiece Blender

4 times being repair at service center for less than a years usage.

I wavered back and forth on whether or not to spend the money for a blender. Truly one of the BEST purchases I have ever made!!! This is not just a smoothie machine, but everything else in between. I roast tomatoes, onions, peppers and garlic - put it all in the blender and makes the best soup, sauce, or pesto EVER!! I put everything in this and it works like a dream. The technology is what first drew me in, and it is AMAZING! Cleans up easily. Can't say enough great things about this product! Oh, and it's QUIET!!!

We have tried many blenders but finally found one that works for frozen fruit and ice for our drinks -hooray

In general, this is a solid, good appliance. It is awkward that the handle is straight out in front and you have to look at the side of the jar to see measurements.

I purchased this extraordinary artifact of human intellect eighteen days ago, and I have blended unique and delicious smoothies (consisting of eight to twelve fresh fruit, vegetable, and herbal ingredients) every single day for breakfast. I blended a fantastic strawberry margarita (following the instructions in the helpful Electrolux manual) the very day the blender arrived at my door, as a way to properly celebrate the start of what is proving to be a very tasty and nutritious blending lifestyle. I have also made sesame salad dressing directly from sesame seeds, and fresh salsa, with great results. I would not have imagined the joy of making my own blended smoothies, drinks, dressings, and sauces -- and I am very glad I invested in such a great machine. I love the sensible blending options and the remarkably useful digital timer. I also really like the feel of the buttons -- very easy to press, with a nice affirming click, and with a nearly flat surface that is trivial to wipe clean. I also really like how the pitcher simply drops on top of the base, and how easy it is to clean the pitcher and lid. But, of course, the most important aspect of the blender is the quality of the blend -- and I must say that the blade design, pitcher design, and blend programs (with different durations, strategic pauses, and speed changes), blend together to produce an excellent result! I am very impressed by how well diverse ingredients -- including hard beets and soft banana -- blend so nicely together. I think it would be nice if a glass pitcher were also an option, but I am really pleased with the Tritan pitcher (lightweight, very durable, and easy to clean).
