Avoid this gimmicky gas can

When I bought this I thought I was just buying a regular gas can and only after I got it home did I discover the special nozzle. This is a great example of trying to solve a problem that does not exist. This thing is absolutely terrible to deal with. It is extremely difficult to get the gas to pour out, and it always makes a mess because I am always fighting with that daft nozzle.

Turn the green collar 1/4" until you hear and/or feel a click. Rest one of the two hooks located on the spout on the lip of the receiving tank and apply downward pressure on the can. Q: How does this gas can work? Do you have to put it on "unlock"? Gas doesn't come out? Spilled a lot trying to get it to work. Do you have to hold the spout?
