got this antenna to replace my stock one; i like antennas electric ones much better and this one was much cheaper than buying the factory original!

A good unit

I have had this antenna installed on my car for a couple of years now and it has functioned just fine. There is an output on my radio to signal it up when the radia and car are on and it retracts if either is turned off. It is important to ensure you have sufficient rooom to mount the unit below the section of body where you wish to install it. There are different escution plates to allow for different angles of the mount area. Also check to ensure that there is one suitable for your purpose before you proceed and make the unit non-returnable.

A: The EPA82F Power Antenna (35-0102) is a universal style power antenna. We unfortunately cannot confirm which exact vehicles it will work with, but it does require at least 11.5 inches of clearance under the fender in order for it to be installed.

A: The E2 Power Antenna, 36-in (35-0102) antenna requires 11.5 inches of clearance under the fender. As long as the Celica offers enough clearance, the antenna should fit.

A: The 2003 Santa Fe does not have a power antenna. The factory antenna is rooftop. Installing a power antenna would require vehicle modifications and be very difficult. I suggest going on line and looking for a direct factory replacement part. Or, if that installation is still too difficult, the customer may consider a window mount like the Scosche WMA.

A: The physical unit looks like it will adequately replace the Jaguar unit. I would proceed with a note of caution on the electrical connections. It is possible for a Foreign vehicle to require a (-) Negative ground circuit to activate the antenna’s to extend/or retract function. Most vehicles on the road and Aftermarket replacement antennas (including the E2 product) use a +12Volt circuit to activate extend/or retract function. If the vehicle indeed requires a Negative motorized antenna circuit, then extra electronics parts, namely a 12V Relay are required. The E2 unit does not include the extra part. You should verify and test all the original wiring connections using a volt meter or voltage testing apparatus before proceeding with the installation.
