Awesome product!

I recently bought a new home with hardwood floors. I always thought the Dyson handheld vacuums would work well on such floors. I’m so glad I chose to purchase one because it is absolutely fantastic!

This is the most I've ever paid for a vacuum. It worked for 2 years and then the battery stopped taking a charge. Absolute junk.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Love this Dyson, no cords to get tangled, very lightweight and has lots of accessories, this would be good for elderly people as well, as it’s light and easy to use.

Q: Hi! Does this product work with human hair (my roommate has such long and much hair). How about the egg skin and the onion skin? Is it good for cleaning the kitchen?

A: Hi. Hair will roll up on the beater-bar, but that’s probably the same as most vacuums with beater-bars. (Brush wheel spinning thing) I don’t find it very good on hard floors, small hard pieces tend to roll round-and-round in that beater-bar before they get sucked up, if at all. I find the vacuum is good on carpet.

Q: We purchased the V7 at a local Canadian Tire. I am not impressed with it. The battery holds for max 15 minutes and takes more than an hour to charge? I hope I can return it. I also find it quite heavy and not as easy to manoeuvre as I had hoped.

A: I have no oroblems with this Dyson. It holds the charge quite well and It has never run down. I also have a Dyson 8 with no problems. It is extremely light and easy to maneuver.

Q: Have a v7 the motor serges then stops press trigger starts again if can’t be fixed will have to junk not happy

A: Same happened to me. Simply pull out the dust filter from the middle of the motor head, rinse under a tap until the water runs clear, allow to dry and replace.

Q: Should the motor pulse or be steady? I bought a Motorhead and the motor pulses. I don't know whether to return it.

A: Thanks Kelly. If it was blocked, it occurred at Canadian Tire because it happened immediately. The V7 motorhead is now acting normally, so if there was a blockage, it moved.

Q: How wide is the vacuum head? There’s a width of 8.5” stated, but it doesn’t say where this is measured (e.g. could be the head or the body/canister).
