Waste of money!

Worked extremely well the first 8 months then the roller in the head unit stopped turning. Did all possible troubleshooting, followed all possible instructions by Dyson support but nothing worked. Worst part is that Dyson refused replacing the head and wanted to sell me a new one for about $150! A compnay that doesn't resepct its warranty is not worth your money!

Très mauvais achat

J’ai cet aspirateur depuis un peu plus de 1 an. Je l’utilise seulement pour les petites surfaces car faut faire vite... il se bloque très souvent et de plus la brosse abîme les plancher en bois francs. Quand je dois changer l’embout, le récipient pour la poussière se vide et je dois l’aspirer à nouveau. Vraiment très décevant pour le prix payé.

Dyson slim vacuum

I bought an older version about 4 years ago loved it then love it now. We have 3 dogs and use it daily. People even comment you couldn’t tell we have 3 dogs. It is light weight good on carpet vinyl and hardwood floors. I am looking forward to the newest model for the self clean canister.I have even thought about giving it to my daughter to get a new one.

Best cordless I’ve ever had

I’ve had an older model of one of these for about two years now, and I’m very impressed with it! It’s light and easy to use, especially on floors of either tile or carpet, which is what I have/use it on daily. I have a bird, so I am using this vacuum 3-4 times a day to clean up the feathers and seed hulls that the bird likes to throw on the carpeted floor. I also use it for larger spot-cleaning of the whole place. It’s small motorized head is excellent for getting between and under furniture. I use the lower power setting and suction is perfectly fine, even though I’m not as quick to empty the bin when it’s full as I should be. I am so pleased with this small Dyson cordless that I purchased a V-10 Animal cordless to replace my main vacuum! Had that one for a few months and it also hasn’t disappointed me at all.

Q: What cordless Dyson would be best for using on shag area rug?

A: Hello Karen, this is Kelly with Dyson. With all of our Dyson cordless models, you will have a spinning brush bar that cannot be turned off. Some high-pile carpets, or carpets with a thicker pile such as shag, may be sensed by the brush bar as an obstruction, causing the brush bar to shut off. The Dyson Cyclone V10 Animal and Absolute models both have a suction slider at the cleaner head which may be more suitable for your flooring type. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

Q: Which dyson can clean carpet and tiles.. and I can't decide which vacuum I should buy v6 or v7.

A: Hello Olive, this is Kelly with Dyson. Both our V6 and V7 cordless models will perform well on carpeting and bare floors. They both offer the same in terms of suction; the V6 cordless will provide up to 20 minutes of run time, while the V7 will have up to 30 minutes of run time. The difference among models will be tools that come included in the box. For example, an Animal model will include the mini motorized head which is our "pet" tool for the cordless machines. Our Absolute models come with a secondary cleaner head, which is the soft roller. This floor tool was engineered specifically for use on your bare floors. I hope this was helpful. Q: What is a best vacuum for carpet, rug and hardwood floor? Also running long, so i can do vacuum in at one time, i am ok with cord or cordless
