The Dyson V15 Detect Cordless Stick Vacuum offers intelligent suction that adapts to dirt levels and floor types, delivering the right power level when and where you need it. The LCD screen provides real-time cleaning data, including particle count so you can see the results of your deep clean. The digital cleaner head seamlessly adjusts to different floor types while actively de-tangling hair as you vacuum. The included Fluffy Optic™ cleaner head reveals twice the amount of invisible dust, ensuring nothing is left behind. Equipped with a piezo sensor, the V15 detects and sizes dust particles, automatically increasing suction when necessary. With up to 60 minutes of fade-free runtime and three power modes, this vacuum strikes the ideal balance between run time and suction.

Better than any other vacuum

Brilliant suction, better than any barrel vacuum we’ve ever had. Only minor notes are that it’s pretty heavy, and when you empty you have to scoop out the dirt, it doesn’t just fall out. Still an amazing product.

I had a v11 before this, and it was pretty good, but the 15 is a different level of power and effectiveness. The laser light on the soft roller is another bonus—it makes vacuuming more interesting! A.very good buy.

Q: how long does the battery last on a charge? Does the battery life decrease when you vacuum carpet? Lastly, how long does it take to charge the battery?

  • A: Hello, how long the battery lasts really depends on what mode you use the vacuum in. On Eco I can get over 80 minutes of run time when on hard floors, around 50 on auto. On carpets it does decrease slightly. On eco I can get around 60 mins on carpet, about 40 on auto. When vacuuming on auto, on both carpet and hard floor, the time does fluctuate since the vacuum increases power when it detects more dirt. This setting can be disabled though if that’s a concern. To charge from 0% it takes roughly 4 hours but I usually leave it charging when not in use so that way it’s always charged when I need it. I believe you can also purchase extra batteries from Dyson if you’re looking for longer run times, doing so will essentially double your run time. Hope this helps!
