    Contrary to the other review, these are the best I have ever used. I light a half stick with myBick lighter, put it in my firebox and put wood around it. They have not let me down at all

    Great decoration, not great for starting fires

    The box and novelty of this product is great. Looks fantastic by a fireplace. Used one stick and it took a torch to get it lit. If I only had a BIC or match it would never go. I understand if it isn't meant to light right away but burn easier than wood, but to me that is not a fire starter. Dry kindling would do better.
