poor projector

Purchased for the projector. Don't need and did not test alarm or radio.
Slightly larger brighter image than 44-1186, but still not sufficient for either my wife or I to read time in bed, despite projector to image distance over 10 feet. Also, the image is upside down - no way to rotate the projection. We have it across the room, but the image orientation would also be wrong if beside the bed, say on a night-table.
CTC used to carry a device with a very good projector clock - the current offerings are extremely poor.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Digital Lab does not make units that operate on battery power, the batteries are for the back-up systems in case of power failure.

A: The projection is set separately and the controls for the projection are located on the top of the actual projection unit

A: It should not be showing 24 hours therefore we would suggest taking it back to your local Canadian Tire store.

Q: Does this clock run on batteries or AC?

A: The unit operates on AC power. The batteries are for a battery back-up system to retain the time and setting memory in case of power failure.

Q: can this clock do a countdown? need projection clock that can count down to the second for a 4 hour period.
