These batteries are complete junk!

Hey Dewalt, How about offering a battery replacement program because highlighting all of the great features on drills and other items that use this battery is mute due to this malfunctioning battery

Gift that's worthless

I was given the Dewalt 18volt DC9181 Hand drill. I used it once and the 2 pack batteries will not charge. The batteries are more expensive than the drill. I took to several battery places to find replacement and they dont even make this battery anymore. What a waste for such a expensive product. I thought this was supposed to last me a least 5-10 years. I don't need it often but when I do I need a quality drill.

Disappointed

Dewalt seemed to have a good reputation. So when I took a chance with its 18-volt system, I found that the Li-Ion batteries to be unacceptable. I have three. One worked for a while and the other two never worked properly. None will charge. Dewalt charged a professional price for these batteries and left me disappointed with the company.

Very disappointed- Didn't expect this from Dewalt

I bought this as an extra battery and had it for a couple of years before taking it out of the package. I fully charged it for 2 days the first time. I got to use it 3 times and thats it. It completely loses charge overnight.
