[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this Saw to cut up pallets so I can make pallet art and such. It has plenty of power to do so. Love the variable speed control. Would be lost without it.

Won’t except blades right out of the box new Santa brought me this to replace a 10-year-old other manufacture as blade mechanism broke. Right out of the box this brand new DeWalt will not except a blade. Brand new DeWalt blades won’t lock.

The Dewalt Reciprocating Saw and the 2X Long Life Wood and Metal blades were able to cut through 2x4 studs, cut galvanized nails, and duct work. I have never had any issues with adding or removing the blades or the saw itself.
