Problems since first use

I purchased the twin size for my wife to use when visiting a friend, but she fell ill and did not visit as planned. So the bed was packed away, not ever have been taken out of its box. We forgot about it for about 2years until a nephew visited us. It deflated over night on him, but he wondered if the valves were sufficiently tightened so as to not leak. After he left I looked for any leaks, and did not find any, so believed he had found the problem.
Then, we had a different visitor two weeks afterward. When I inflated it it leaked, deflating with no one on it within an hour. The opening is along a seam impossible to patch.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I have been sleeping on the bed for over a week due to the inability to climb stairs due to a broken foot. I have severe hip bursitis and I find that this bed is great for sleeping on my sore hips. I have a 4" memory topper on my regular bed but my hips still hurt! I am at the upper limit for weight on this bed and I have not had problems. I also find that I can sleep on my back for most of the night. Again something that does not happen in my regular bed. I toss and turn all night and have had no problems with the mattress shifting. Each night I add some air - nnot much to make sure that it is fully inflated. There is very little air lost overnight.
My only complaint is that if you sit on the edge of the bed for a period of time, the mattress will shift. I find that it is best to sit down as close to the middle of the bed and not linger on the edge.

I bought this bed because I live between my parents houses and didn't want to have to buy a real bed. I might sleep in it five to ten nights a month, at most, though. Depending on how long it would be until I slept in it again, I leave it inflated or deflate it. One morning when I was inflating it I noticed that one of the seams between the bump had let go or something because there was a huge lump in it that made it difficult to sleep on. I could only sleep on my side on one side of the bed. I had misplaced the receipt and was just dealing with it until I realized that it must have also put a hole it in when it popped so I would wake up on the frame after six hours of sleep. I found the receipt and exchanged it. Hopefully it was a fluke and this one works better.
Also, my grandmother has the same bed for when guests come over, and it has started to deflate during the night, as well.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Ours had been too for the Queen we also found that the queen was not a true queen size.

A: The pump is not built in, and you could use it for other purposes, that is, if it survives for more that 10 minutes (mine broke right away)

A: My boyfriend says he feels amazing after sleeping on the bed and he gets very sore backs. You can make the bed soft or hard so it may be good.

Q: Can you purchase the power cord separately? Our pump works fine but the cord was misplaced.

A: I realize this is a year and a half late, but the power cord for the pump is very generic and is identical to the ones used on my Nikon camera battery chargers among other appliances.

Q: CAN you purchase the air mattress separately? this is the third mattress that I have had, they have all had leakage problems especially around the seams on the top where the round dimples are.
