Really good spot light for seeing a long distance clearly, do like its pistol grip and still small enough to pack while hunting , great for a lot of applications but as a Hunter your always trying to find the brightest light but also the smallest for packing price is reasonable but I have seen it go on sale

I'm so glad LED lights have come down in price. This light is powerful, small size, and great on battery life. I also prefer the pistol-grip handle over the regular long flash-light style. I use it all the time when working on my car as well as the outdoors. Use of regular AA batteries is a plus - They can be found at at store on the go. Only drawback is, I'm always looking for it as another family member is usually using it too! Now I know what to give for Christmas!

Q: How long do the batteries last? thinking of purchasine, if batteries last more than 6 hours.

A: I've used the first set (the ones that came with the light) for at least four hours, always on high power. The yellow/red warning light on top would flash on periodically. (I like this feature!) So I put in a set of Duracell Long life ones just it case - didn't want it to die in the middle of the bush. I can definitely say, the life span out lives my Maglight any day - RIP Maglight. Very happy with the light so far. Priced reasonable.
