The CURT 51531 Universal Trailer Brake Controller Harness provides a reliable connection for your brake controller, helping to ensure consistent and safe braking performance. Designed to splice directly into your vehicle, it eliminates backfeed on brake lights, preventing warning triggers in select vehicles. The slit-loom sleeve protects the 12-gauge wiring, while standard colour coding simplifies installation. This universal harness is ideal for vehicles without a factory brake controller plug.
Compatible with any CURT brake control
Note: brake lights will not illuminate with manual override use
Reduces input voltage from vehicle for optimal brake controller function
Includes 24" (61 cm) of 12-gauge wire for flexible installation
Use with CURT universal wiring kit #51500 for simplified installation
