Quietest hand held blender EVER!!

Reliable, quiet, efficient and lots of power to mix! What more can you ask for? Compared to the others I've had, this is definitely the best! Short of an expensive, counter-covering stand mixer this baby is the uber-mixer! Love it!

Works good at first

I did a lot of research before buying this mixer. I liked the fact it was a good name, had 7 speeds vs. 5, included a whisk, and had the option for dough hooks (you can buy separately from Cuisinart). I've had this mixer for 2-3. It worked great when I first got it but by no means is made for heavy duty mixing. I most recently was making chocolate cookies and could tell it was having a tough time. I turned it off and when I turned it back on again the lights came on but the motor was powerless, I tried everything to get it working but no success.
To give you an idea on how much I used it, I used it for holidays, the occasional birthday and occasional day where I got bored and wanted a treat.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Good power, poor mixing of ingredients

I would like beaters that are now wire but flat metal - these ones do not incorporate ingredients and you are left with batter that is not fully miixed.

Nice for small Baking Jobs

When I only have to do one batch of cookies or one cake i take this out because it is lightweight and powerful! It also is not cumbersome to store as it comes apart easily and is easy to wipe down and keep clean!

Ce batteur à main est super efficace, le meilleur que j'ai eu. Il mélange bien les aliments, il a plusieurs vitesses selon les besoins. Et surtout se lave bien. La préparation ne reste pas prise dans les batteur, c'est un gros plus.

Q: Will this beater also fit the dough hooks? I have a pair of dough hooks from my last cuisinart mixer that recently broke (after a very long and satisfactory life!). I'd like to purchase a new mixer and want to make sure the dough hooks I have will fit.
