Loud, but powerful!

I agree with the previous review that this blender is LOUD despite having “quiet” listed as one of its qualities. But it blends smoothies well as long as you add enough liquid.

J'adore mon mélangeur Cuisinart, il fonctionne super bien, broie très bien la glace et les aliments plus durs. Il est assez gros pour faire de bonnes quantités.

Q: Can this blender handle warm to hot liquids for making soup?

A: Yes it can. When blending hot liquids, remove center piece of two-piece cover. Allow hot foods to cool slightly before blending to prevent steam buildup, which may cause the cover to lift up from the blender jar.
