Not brewing

We bought this and after a year it stopped brewing. Everything else works, the only issue is that it will not brew coffee:( liked the maker, no one got back to us from Cuisinart??????

Great machine. I need to replace a part, though

I'm mourning. The tray where we pour the coffee beans is dammaged beyons repair and I can't find a replacement part. I love the coffee maker; it allows to have fresh ground beans just before brewing it. A all-in-one machine that's been very faithfull. CDoes anyone have an idea where I can find a replacement for the broken part?

Free coffee?

Have used this coffee maker for many years with no problems every morning. Clean out the chute daily and have the "waste" grounds fall into a coffee filter underneath. I also have a Keurig which I use for single cups of tea/coffe/hot chocolate during the day with a reusable coffee filter into which I put the "waste" grounds. After four/five cleanings I get a "free" cup of coffee from the Keurig.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I have bought one for everyone in my family. By far the greatest coffee machine out there. The coffee is so fresh- perfectly made- every single time. Friends who don't drink coffee come over- to have my coffee!!

Q: I have read a lot of reviews about the grinder packing up. Is this true?

A: I've had this coffee maker for over two years and no problems whatsoever. I suspect those who have experienced problems do not bother to clean the chute properly I've taken an extra few minutes every day to clean it out as fresh coffee beans are oily and stick to the sides of the chute. I found it easiest to forget the brush and and just use my index finger to clean it thoroughly after every use. A nuisance? Maybe a little. But the reward? Wonderful, fresh brewed coffee every time! And another tip. Want a really strong European-style pot of fresh coffee? Set the dial initially for only two cups. Then, after grinding, turn off your coffee maker for a second and then turn it back on and the re-set the dial for the maximum number of cups you want;--I always make a full pot. And by the way. unlike all the other complaints, I love my thermos. I never go more that three hours before I've finished off the pot--and it stays very hot during the whole of that time. Also its wide mouth makes it extremely easy to clean. A great product all around.

A: Yes, you can use ground coffee or beans. I use ground coffee when I want to make a pot of decaf in the evening.

A: oui, on peut mettre du café déjà moulu, c'est très facile, il y a un bouton pour enlever le mode grinder et tu n'a qu'à mettre ton cafe moulu dans le petit panier comme une cafetiere ordinaire.
