Very disappointed
a month ago
Bitterly dissapointed when popper suddenly quit after 2 months! When it worked it was an absolute delight. Fast, efficient and easy carefree use. In regard to the CPM 150C Easy Pop Hot Air Popcorn Maker, I shared the frustration of many other customers who complained about unpopped or popped corn blowing halfway accross room. I tried less popcorn and tilting machine all to no avail. I thought I at last found an awesome product but Cuisinart let me down twice.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not impressed with its duration

Worked great at the beginning but didn't last long. All of a sudden one day (after maybe a year and a half), just stopped working. Our previous popcorn maker lasted a couple of decades and we only got rid of it because of its non-stick coating that was wearing off.

Easy pop, easy cleanup and tasty results!

This popcorn maker is the best yet! I was so frustrated with the mess and cleanup of other poppers that I switched to microwave popcorn years ago. I was recently gifted this model, and it made me realize that microwave (though good) couldn't hold a candle to fresh popped popcorn! The ease of making, enjoyment of watching the kernels pop, and cleanup has me enjoying popcorn 🍿 again.
Yes, I recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love popcorn and just wasn't thrilled with microwave popcorn so I decided to try the Cuisinart popper. The popcorn tastes sooo much better. Very easy to use and clean. You
do need to watch it, as I burnt my first attempt just a bit. I see kernels on the edge of my popper as the bar spins, but by the time it's finished popping, I have yet to find any that
didn't pop! Very happy with that, as I hate eating unpopped kernels mixed in with my popcorn. I usually just hand wash my pieces to the popcorn maker. Photos show my first attempt that burned slightly 😬

- A: Yes, you need to use a bit of cooking oil. Don't use olive oil- it'll burn too quickly. They include recommendations on how much to use in the instructions.12 years agoHelpful?
