Great brewed coffee. Easy to use coffee maker. Very loud grinder which requires cleaning after every use which is why I gave it 4/5 stars.

It is a nice machine and works as expected, knowing that a combo maker and grinder can't really have a conical grinder so it uses blades. My only recommendation would be to make it quieter and also not to allow condensation from the brewing pot into the grinder. Makes a mess, so maybe more insulated and separate to be quieter and away from the moisture.

Q: can you grind the beans the night before so that it isnt noisy in the morning?

Q: how long does it stay on for? does it have a self clean its self?

A: The element under the glass carafe stays on for two hours and keeps the coffee very warm. It plays a short tone before shutting off. It does not have any self-clean functions. In addition to replacing/cleaning the filter and rinsing the carafe, the grinder needs to be rinsed/cleaned after each use.
