One Troubling Issue

I bought this toaster a month ago, and I like the way it looks and performs for the most part, but I cannot understand one thing. The slot on the far right, with the 1 and the arrow, obviously I understand that this is to represent single slice of bread. But every time I use single slice, it only toasts on the left side o bread, then I have to turn it, watch the toasted side does not over toast, while the other side cooks. Am I missing something?? I often do use just a single slot, feel like I may have to return it.

A: Non, pas vraiment. Je sors le grille pain d'une petite armoire pour m'en servir, puis fais griller mes toasts, puis je remets le grille pain dans sa petite armoire tout de suite après, sans aucun gant. Éviter de toucher les surfaces directement proches des fentes des toasts car oui elles sont chaudes, mais seulement localement. Tout le reste n'est pas chaud.

A: Oui, ça l'est. Il suffit d'essuyer l'extérieur avec un chiffon propre et humide et sécher complètement. Appliquer un agent de nettoyage sur un chiffon, et non pas le grille-pain, avant de le nettoyer. Ne pas utiliser de nettoyants abrasifs.
