Expected better quality

Tinny / lower quality than expected from this company.
Got home, unpacked it and would not work. Bread would not stay down, unless plunger. Is pushed down very gently. Not surprised it was on sale.

I bought this toaster a week ago. It works and does toast my bread, however the mechanism to lower the bread is “klunky”. It just doesn’t sound and feel like it’s well made. It is a Cuisinart so I expected great quality. The dial to darken the toast also has basically no noticeable friction to keep it in place. I’d say I’m disappointed with this product.

A toaster that doesn’t toast evenly.

Very cheaply built. I’d return it for an upgrade but have had it too long. Doesn’t toast evenly, up and down handle to drop item for toasting sometimes works sometimes not. Buyer beware.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can I use it to bake a cooked ham slice? So I make 2 slice of toast from bread, thenI cut a slice of ham (cooked) and bake it like bread. Can I do that? I was wondering if there's any common known restrictions for toaster using. In place I came from, there's no such thing about toast.
