Très esthétique...La surface de cuisson est assez grande comparativement à d'autre que j'ai vu. 12 000 BTU pour sa grandeur, c'est suffisant car la cuisson est assez rapide. Je déteste les grilles en fonte par contre celle-ci est émaillé et c'est ce que je recherchais. J'apporterais quelques amiloration concernant la fermeture plus intanche Couvercle. Le fait que les tablettes sont rotatives vers l'intérieur du couvercle (Très ingénieux) mais pas Tant. Car une fois que vous utilisez votre bbq et que les tablettes sont en place, l'air entre à l'intérieur de votre couvercle. Vous perdez alors de la chaleur pour votre cuisson et consommez plus de propane. Remarquer que votre convercle ne ferme pas en totalité lorsque vous êtes situé devant. Mais je le recommande toute même.

Good heat distribution

I would have rated it higher because it heats up quick, unfortunately the parts also rust quick and it’s very difficult to replace them. If they sell it, please have replacements parts to go with it. Reduce the trips to the dumps!

While it might be a bit time consuming to assemble, this is one of the best BBQs on the market. It's compact and so useful. It's got plenty of cooking area and the side shelves really increase the value of the BBQ. It's perfect for being able to throw on the back of the truck and take camping over a long weekend. It's durable construction and easy maintenance really make this an ideal at home or on the road BBQ.

A: Got mine pre-assembled with the chain hanging from the opposite side of the propane bottle. It is a good question, because the owner's manual doesn't specify and the website doesn't say. I just took mine off, useless.

A: when you buy a 20 lb tank, you have to go fill it first, it doesn't come filled like the 1 lb tank.

Q: Need for charcoal or lava-rocks? Given that this BBQ is propane-powered, would there any benefit to adding charcoal or lava-rocks (or similar) to create more of a 'smoky flavour' to foods? Is that possible, or safe?

A: Just use it as is is and you'll enjoy it. It's a portable bbq, charcoal, lava rocks, smoke boxes are for real bbq's. Just my opinion.

Q: Why on this barbecue can we not keep the heat constant, it will go maybe to 350 but then goes down to 200 and will not go back up to 300 plus?

A: When I have a LOT of cold meat on the grill after the preheat it goes down below 200. It takes at least 8-10 minutes before it goes back up to the "safe" zone in the 300-400C range. I recommend patience.

Q: free-standing folded up??? huge disappointment that the unit cannot stand on its own two feet when folded up for storage. It just topples over onto itself upside down. Surely I'm missing something or my assembly went awry because that is the hugest design flaw otherwise

A: I store this vertically with the handle resting on a small block of 2x4 and it stays standing all winter. Before the 2x4 I used a 2" binder... seriously I did.
