Great machine

Ive been using it for 3 weeks already and This is a great, easy-to-use coffee maker. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I wish there were a way to see how much coffee is left in the carafe without opening it.

Great coffee maker

I love the fact that the hot plate only stays on for a short time, your coffee doesn't burn if you don't drink it right away. The carafe is sealed so the heat stays in. It can be a bit awkward to pour near the end but you still have hot coffee a couple of hours later after most machines would be cold.

Safety issue

Never does a coffee thermos sit on a heating element. How did this happen? The exterior of the thermos, which should be room temp, became alarmingly hot. A glass coffee carafe sites on a heating element. Never a thermos, whic is what I got. Product returned.

Q: Will it make just. Single cup

  • A: You have to use the carafe in order for the coffee maker to dispense properly. So you can’t just fill one coffee cup. You could limit the amount of coffee by using a small quantity of water and coffee, but not really ideal for making 1 cup
