Corningware, Dishes That Last

Hard to go wrong with Corelle dishes. It is great to have such attractive dishes in a lightweight and durable material. We did manage to break a cup, but with two sets, it isn't much of an issue. The coating used is amazing. One day we managed to leave a plate on the element of the stove while it was on. The smell alerted us to an issue. The plate was glowing, and there was a blackened area on the top. Amazingly, after cooling down, the discoloration scrubbed off without damaging the pattern. Very impressive.

I wish I could buy a set of dishes without cups! I have coffee cups I don't use the small cups that come with dinner sets, I end up tossing them into a box to donate
