It is Simple to Convert with this Kit.

I appreciate that the manufacturers have standardized the conversion to natural gas. The conversion process is simple and the kit makes it easy. Remove the propane orifices, adjust the control valves, and attach the hose. The kit seems a bit expensive for what it actually is, but it makes conversion easy, and is worth it. The BBQ can easily be converted back to propane if needed.

Natural gas conversion

It converts natural gas to a propane barbecue. And his made specifically for this barbecue. The only issues I had is that I had to go out and buy another fitting to connect to the 3/8 inch piping. Which is very surprising because that’s a standard size for a gas line.

Q: I bought this hose for my new coleman BBQ for my new home, but it doesn’t connect to my natural gas line on my new home. I think the new gas line is a 1/2” male. Can you tell me what adapter I would need to buy to reduce it to fit this hose?

A: I had a similar issue and had to figure it all out the hard way. First off, they say it's a 5/8" quick disconnect, but that's not exactly true, you need a 3/8" male to connect to. I also have a 1/2" male from my main feed, so you need to get a 1/2" female to 3/8" male adapter.

A: I recently installed this hose onto my gas2456af cuisinart to convert it to NG. You will need a 6mm socket to remove the small propane burner tips as shown in the cuisinart instructions.

A: Thank you for your inquiry. The Convertible Valve System Kit doesn't include any orifices. The process of converting your Propane grill to Natural Gas requires propane orifices to be removed to reveal natural gas orifices underneath. Which is why only grills that bear the Convertible Valve System icon are able to be converted from Propane to Natural Gas. For a list of compatible grills, please visit the "specifications" tab above, or reach out to the manufacturer of your grill to determine if your grill includes a convertible manifold. Q: is this product compatible with master chef prime 5 burner?

A: Thank you for your inquiry. If you're referring to the Master Chef Prime 5 Burner Models #: G42603 or G42604, neither of those Master Chef grills are convertible to Natural Gas. Only grills that contain the Convertible Valve System Logo are convertible to natural gas. Those grill models come CSA tested and approved for propane use only. Hope this helps!
