    I really like this item. The reason for the 4 stars is that the lid on the first one was so tight I couldn't open it. Luckily there was another one in the store and it was fine. I do not find the handles to be too hot but I used the pot on the stove. I would imagine that using it in the oven might be a whole different situation. I have used it only once but expect that it will be used several times a week as the inside coating is exceptionally efficient. Very pleased with the purchase and the amazing price.

    Stumbled upon this pot while checking pricing on ceramic cookware. I would never pay the full price but on clearance at 70% off it was hard to resist (and with the hope that it would cause my wife to stop complaining about the pot she currently uses). This is the best pasta pot ever. Heats quickly, the pasta doesn't stick, and the locking-draining lid is great. Very glad I happened upon it. If your store has any left (on clearance) get one before they are gone.

    A Really Good Stock Pot....

    It is a replacement for my 15 yr old, not induction ready Calphalon pot. But this pot has a couple of short comings, thus only 3 stars. -One star lost due to the handles becoming much too hot. Need to use pot holders. -Another star lost due to the somewhat weighty/ackward/bulky designed lid, and the lid takes up too much space in the storage drawer. The pot itself is a gem, nice height and width, plus it works beautifully on an induction stove. Great for making stock, pasta, stews, and bulk cooking in general. Clean up by hand is a breeze and it's dishwasher friendly.
