    Bypass pruners

These are good pruners to lend out or to have as a backup when your favorite pruners can't be found. Don't try to muscle through thick stuff with them though, they are for the light stuff, 1/2 in minus and perennials. For under 10 bucks, you wont cry when they get lost in the leaf pile!! I have lost my share of Felco #2 over the years at 80.00 a pop, losing those really stings.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Works fine for me

I had one of these for a few years, for light pruning around the garden, and small trees in the yard. They came in handy keeping blackberry vines at bay as well. I never had a problem with it, so I'm at a loss to explain why others have had such a bad experience. I misplaced mine earlier this summer, so went back to Canadian Tire and bought another one. So far so good, and I've had no issues. It's not a high end pruner to be sure, but it gets the job done for the uses I've described and at a good price.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    DO NOT BUY.

I bought one supper time on Saturday used less than 30 minutes and it broke so returned within the same hr I bought it. Got the same thing again and didn't even last long enough to finish pruning my 2nd bush. Will be returning for the 2nd time. Current picture shows a screw attaching upper black cutting blade to silver metal. The two I bought had a weld which both broke within 30 minutes each. DO NOT BUY.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Good Product for the Price

This little pair of garden shears works well on small leafy plants and small branches, however if you are going to be trimming anything bigger than that- then go buy a bigger tool for the job. If you have a little yard though with reasonably sized plants, then I highly recommend this product as it works perfectly for pruning my Roses, Lilacs and Sedum.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

You get what you pay for. These are not durable at all. Okay for pruning flowers, but will snap and fall apart for branches

No, I do not recommend this product.
