Light Bike and a Great Colour

I purchased this bike in late November as an early Christmas present to myself. It is a great road bike for a beginner. Lightweight frame makes it easy to carry or hang up from the garage ceiling. Tires go flat quickly though and you need the special adapter on your pump to add air to them.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Decent bike for the price

I bought this bike one year ago on clearance. In that time I've put 1300 km on it. I was just getting into cycling so it perfectly suited my situation. You really can't get better value considering it has an aluminum frame and some Shimano parts. However some upgrades should be considered. For me these included changing out the bottom bracket for a sealed cartridge, swapping the tires for a better quality name brand and replacing the freewheel with a Shimano part rather than the cheap "Superwin" OEM part. With a little elbow grease, this bike has great potential.

Q: What is the range of allowable tire pressure? Most tires have a range of allowable tire pressure written on them. But these ones only have 100psi written. What is the range? Also, please provide the model of tires. Thanks.

  • A: Between 85 to 100 psi depending on the conditions. on VERY slippery conditions, I.E. snow, heavy rain, lower it to 85. Daily, i put 120 on my other brand tires, i recommand checking up at your local bike shop for other options concerning tires

Q: Can a wider tire be installed on the ccm endurance?

2 Answers
  • A: Nope, you're stuck with a 700x20-23 tire. The only reason being you'd need a Cyclo break installed... but it doesn't have the braces for it.
