The CCM Assault 20" Bike is a serious off-road machine designed for tearing up the trails. The lightweight aluminum frame makes for a lean and strong bike. The front and rear suspension systems keep your tires firmly on the ground when the terrain is rough. This bike also features a front disc brake, making it easy to stop in all conditions. The best part is the 6-speed Shimano Revo shifting system, giving you the gears you need to get up the hills and back down again.

Q: Replacement Tire I bought this bike in March 2012. The tire on the rear wheel started to bulge on one side so I bought a replacement tire 20 x 2.00 but the tire fits loose and bulges on both sides when inflated. Any suggestions?

A: You need to let all the air out of the tire then push the edge of the tire in under the edge of the rim. Start pumping while checking both tire sides edges to make sure they are still inside the rim. If starts to bulge again, push the edges in while pumping.

Q: Can you raise the handlebars on this CCM Assault bike?

A: Yes, You have to loosen the expander bolt at the top of the stem and pull up the stem to raise the handlebar. You have to make sure that you do not raise the stem past the minimum insertion point marked on the stem. After you raise the handlebar you must re-tighten the expander bolt.

Q: Can you install a water bottle cage on this bike either on the seta tube or down tube?

A: The Assault bike does not have screws/nuts for regular water cage. You would have to purchase a click-on small side bottle to put on top or down tube.
