Don't buy this!

Looks good. But we are in our maybe 3rd or 4th season and now some chunks of lights are not working. We've tried replacing the fuses and many bulbs but no luck.
Called the toll-free number and that was useless. We were told it's made in China and they don't have any detailed info about the product.

J'ai acheté ce sapin chez Canadian Tire pour sa beauté. La première année, pas de souci. La deuxième année, les lumières se sont mises à s'éteindre les unes après les autres. Après les Fêtes, plus de la moitié des ampoules étaient brûlées. Mon conjoint qui est électricien a vérifié les fils électriques et il semble qu'une défectuosité a entraîné un ou des courts-circuits. Résultat: irréparable. Comme la garantie était terminée, Canadian Tire n'a pas voulu remplacer le sapin. Un sapin qui dure moins de 2 ans c'est anormal et inacceptable. Plus jamais je n'achèterai un sapin Canvas, et plus jamais de sapin chez Canadian Tire.

Was great for first 3 years…then almost all the lights went out!

Bought this tree in 2017. It was great for the first three years, then when we took it out last year a few of the lights didn’t work. Tried to replace bulbs and test it. Nothing worked. When we took it out again this year, over half the bulbs weren’t working. All attempts to repair and replace burnt bulbs hasn’t worked. Ended up buying new mini light strands and wrapping them around the tree. What a waste to buy a pre lit tree and have to add them on. This wasn’t a cheap tree either. Very disappointed that it didn’t last longer.
No, I do not recommend this product.

It's plastic!

We bought this last year on clearance so are unable to return it. The tree is plastic, as long as you don't look too close at it or touch it, you can admire from afar. If we knew it was plastic we wouldn't have bought it!

Q: I bought this beautiful tree 4yrs ago, on sale, the last one, user manual, replacement bulbs and fuses missing. Only used it 2 yrs. Centre section is unlit. I know this model now discontinued. Any chance of downloading a user manual or suggesting a fix?

A: Support is no help. They just tell me it’s made in China. Many sections of lights do not work. Waste of money. Don’t buy from Canadian Tire or Noma products

Q: Some sections of lights have stopped working. Checked fuses, check bulbs. The instructions are not helpful. Is there a wiring diagrams for this tree? Lots of plug and receptacle combinations - not clear which are right.

A: 1. Please check to make sure that all plugs are properly connected and that the power cord is plugged into the wall outlet. (If the tree comes with a foot pedal, try stepping on the ON/OFF button). 2. Please check for loose, broken or missing bulbs and replace as needed. 3. When multiple products are connected together, do not exceed the lowest of the indicated maximum wattage on the cord tag near the connected product's receptacle. 4. Replace the light string fuse (located on the plug). Instructions on how to replace this can be found in the manual under the "Additional Product Information".

Q: Is the width of this product actually 121 inches? All other 7ft trees have a packaged width no greater than 48 inches.

Q: How does the tree come apart? I bought the tree as a display model and didn't get any instructions or boxes. Just wondering how it comes apart

A: Unplug from wall outlet. The tree comes in 3 sections. The top and bottom section each have a male plug that is connected to a female end on the cord that plugs into the wall. Disconnect these. While holding the pole near the middle of the tree, pull up on the top section to remove. Then holding the pole near the base, pull up on the middle section to remove. Gently fold all branches in towards the pole. The tree is now ready to be packed away for storage. Trees should be stored in a cool, dry place.
