Modern and stylish set

We love this set. It is modern with clean lines and stylishly made with wood frames. We plan to apply teak oil on the wood and also bought Tripel covers. The tub chairs are big with thick cushions made with durable material. With proper care and maintenance this set hopefully will last a long time.

Beautiful Patio Set

After throwing out my old rattan patio set 2 years ago, I was on the hunt for a beautiful yet sturdy patio set and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the Capilano patio set in the CT catalogue. Ordered right away and I'm so happy I did. Beautiful, sturdy with thick cushions. Amazing! Would highly recommend! This set looks like it belongs at a high-end cabanna club or golf course.

Q: Has anyone had this set over a year? How does it handle wear and tear?

  • A: The set is made from FSC certified Eucalyptus Hardwood which hold up very well in all weather conditions. Over time the wood will turn to a silver grey patina. If you want to maintain the original appearance you can re stain the set with a hardwood oil. The Tripel treated Oelfin cushions will resist water, stains and fading. The set comes with a 2 year warranty.

  • A: Hi Vancouver Mom, The Capilano Conversation Set is suitable for rainy conditions. Eucalyptus wood is very weather resistant due to its high oil content that helps to repel water and moisture. The wood does not require yearly maintenance, however; the wood will fade to a grey patina colour. If you would like to maintain the current colour, the wood will have to be stained with a hardwood or teak oil. It is recommended to do this once or twice a summer. I hope this helps!
